Little Big Things

"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." - Antonio Smith

Goodness knows, that during these past three weeks, "the little things" have never seemed so big. Goodness also knows, I've had plenty of time to stop and notice them! So here are just some - in no particular order - just so glad they exist:

a supportive family (okay, not so little) * friends that make you laugh * surgeons that are good with kids * take out * drive thrus * little girls' sundresses * Blockbuster * blogs * Nicholas Sparks books * cool breezes * email * scrapbook supplies * DVD players * wind chimes * roses blooming * Noggin * watching Tommy read a book with Raegan * neck massages * CMT * wheel chairs * crayons * the mailman * the UPS man * saying prayers at night * and the cute things kids say like pronouncing the word "because" - "butt-a-cuz" - don't want to forget that one!

So, what are your "little big things" these days?

These days it's TIVO, washer and dryers (is it just my children that seem to change their clothes and need baths all the time?), good cameras, bottled water, laptops, DSL/Fiber, cell phones, watching Josh build legos with the boys, ducks sleeping on our lawn, easy bake brownies, the sweet sounds of my boys arguing, Josh being able to work from home, DVD players in the car (for long trips), miracle suit swimsuits, and of course family and friends.
