A Trip Down 2006's Memory Lane

January: We were in an apartment with only about 1/3 of our belongings....and while our fears were that it would be "too close for comfort," we actually enjoyed being on top of each other and really bonded.
February: Our new house was finally ready for us! Can't believe we've almost been here a year.
March: Our St. Patrick Day's baby turned 3 and we celebrated at the fun-filled Tyler Zoo with Tommy's family.
April: Round #1 of my Dad heading down to paint for Easter weekend. Raegan also had a second birthday party in The Woodlands. Thanks to the Barbie car from her "Dibee" our gutter out front has a permanent crease in it!
May: One word: CRAWFISH! Thanks Joni and Amy! That was so fun.
June: Was June really in 2006? Trying to recover from bunion surgery made this month a blur for me! We did have round #2 of my Dad heading down to paint on Father's Day weekend.
July: We just laid low and enjoyed some fun in the sun while I tried to squeeze my fat foot into shoes again. Our good friends moved back here from Indiana, so we spent a lot of time getting reaquainted.
August: I welcomed my 9th group of sweet 4th graders to my classroom AND a whole new team of 6! Raegan started preschool and she also began classes at Little Gym. She loves her "funny bugs" class! Tommy and I enjoy our Wednesday "family date nights" watching Raegan learn, grow, and interact with friends through the glass walls.
September: Tommy's sister turned 30 and my cousin turned 20 - so we enjoyed more road trips and helped them celebrate!
October: We had a great time with great friends in Sea World, and want to go back again! Also, this made round #3 of my Dad heading down to paint! Why did we not just have the builder paint for us?
November: On the road again....my grandmother turned 75 and we celebrated "cajun style" in Lafayette. We also had our first "sprinkling" of snow. What a tease!
December: Our first Christmas was with Tommy's family on the 16th, followed by my mom's family here on Christmas, and then a quick 8-hour jog to Missouri to celebrate with my Dad. (Yeah....we finally went to him and DID NO PAINTING!)
