In case you don't get to see any of these this 4th of July, here you go, I bring the Allen USA show to you:
Apparently, we have a SCN setting on our camera that says, "Use for photos of fireworks." Go figure! It also says, "Steady camera for best results" when you select it. Don't tell Tommy (because he took the pictures), but some of these look more like deep sea creatures that you'd see on the Discovery Channel....not a firework!
Thank goodness the rain didn't cause them to cancel the fireworks. The City of Allen would have had to face this little guy:
We had MUCH happier campers once we knew the fireworks were on. All smiles here:

4th of july always reminds me of the time we came to visit...and tt took all of us to see a fireworks display at a lake. do you remember? we made our way through the high grass and weeds to find the perfect spot to watch the display...we finally get all settled in...we look up...and the display was over! haha!!
...after this year i will have something else to remind me of 4th of july!!!
