Last Saturday we got off to a rocky start! You know how some people might choose to relax when their child is gone? Well, not us. We spent 8 hours lining the flower beds with moss-covered rocks. Yep. It was "tons" of fun - 3 tons to be exact! Needless to say, we were sunburnt and couldn't walk the next day, but the feeling of checking another thing off the "to-do" list made it all worth it.

Yeah, we do goofy things like that too. Like the time I used a 4 day break to paint my kitchen cabinets. But when the kids are gone this summer - we are going on a trip instead of doing chores! The rocks look awesome BTW!
